Xbox Game Pass is getting a major addition this month. Battlefield 6 Game Pass availability begins on October 13, 2026, giving subscribers another chance to jump into one of the biggest shooters of the past year.
The game arrives almost exactly one year after its original launch. It was also the best-selling game of 2025, making its arrival on Game Pass a notable move for Xbox players.
Battlefield 6 Comes to Game Pass
Battlefield 6 will be available through Game Pass on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, players will need Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass to access it.
The timing is also interesting because the game is entering its Las Vegas-themed Season 5. This could give returning players and newcomers a good reason to jump back into its multiplayer action.
While the campaign received a mixed response, the multiplayer side remains one of the game’s biggest strengths. Large maps, intense battles, and classic Battlefield gameplay continue to make it an attractive option for shooter fans.
The timing also puts Battlefield 6 in an interesting position against Call of Duty. The latest Call of Duty game is launching this month as well, but it will not be available on Game Pass at launch.

More Games Are Coming to Game Pass
Battlefield 6 may be the biggest name in the October lineup, but it is not the only game worth watching. Several smaller titles are also joining the service.
Echo Weaver offers a time-loop metroidvania experience, while Neon Abyss 2 brings cyberpunk action with online co-op for up to four players. Chained Beasts also focuses on co-op gameplay, but with a strange twist: players are connected together while fighting through arenas.
Another interesting addition is Forever Ago, a narrative adventure that focuses on life, choices, and unexpected turns.
There is also Valor Mortis, a Soulslike game set during the Napoleonic Wars. It comes from the team behind Ghostrunner, so fans of challenging action games may want to keep an eye on it.

A Strong Month for Game Pass
The Battlefield 6 Game Pass launch is clearly the headline addition, especially for players who skipped the game last year. But the variety of indie games makes the October lineup more interesting than a single big release.
